The 3rd Annual Chair Affair takes place November 1st and the theme is Vibrant Toronto. Come take part in a wonderful cause and see how some of Toronto’s best artist and designers transformed old chairs into masterpieces.

Chair Affair: A ‘Chair-itable’ Event

The gala showcases 18 of Toronto’s premier artists and designers who donated their time and talent to create unique and extraordinary works of art using ordinary chairs from Furniture Bank’s warehouse. Guests can bid on these one-of-a-kind chairs to take home with them and/or donate to the Furniture Bank Organization: a registered charity that serves the GTA by providing those in need with furniture and household goods.

Some of the artists and designers who participated in designing the Toronto themed chairs include, CBC’s Steven and Chris, Heidi Richter and Paul Lafrance from HGTV’s Decked Out, Natalie Hodgson of Sarah Richardson Design, Cherry Bomb vintage, UNION 31 and Seven Haus Design. The event will be hosted by Global Telivision’s Susan Hay and presented by Streetcar Developments. The live auction will be led by Stephen Ranger.
